This three day winter skills course in Scotland is a challenging yet rewarding weekend adventure and a fantastic introduction into the winter mountaineering skills needed for trekking Island Peak, Mera Peak, or even Mt Toubkal in winter conditions. The Scottish winter can be very unpredictable, but this makes for some awesome winter conditions — perfect for learning and practising new mountaineering skills. The exact location of this weekend may change based on where the best winter mountaineering conditions are at that time. However, you will mainly be based in the little town of Aviemore, set within the scenic Cairngorm National Park in the Scottish Highlands.
